Our fixers: part 2

In the series ‘Our fixers’, we talk to 12 different colleagues about working at Novar. Each of them works in a different department, but with a common goal: fixing the energy transition. For the second story, we cross country boarders to speak to Jenny Alvstråle, Business Developer in Sweden.

A new office

As a Business Developer, my main focus is to find and create new solar park projects in Sweden. But because we recently openend the Swedish office, my role includes a lot more. Doing marketing activities, such as visiting fairs, but also working with partners, be up to date with all the Swedish regulations, create processes and implement tools to work with. Next to that, we want to expand the Swedish team. So finding new colleagues is also something I’m involved in.

The biggest challenge

The most challenging part of being a Business Developer is to find suitable land to get a permit for a solar park. I have to make sure this piece of land “ticks all the boxes”.

A fixer’s mentality

Working at Novar, makes me feel like a fixer all the time! Because the Swedish office is quite new, there are many things that need to be taken care of, besides creating new projects.

The strength of Novar

The strength and what I like about Novar is the drive and the atmosphere in the company. Our team is very creative and build very cool solar projects and collaborations. It gives me energy to get up early in the morning to get some new energy done!
